Meet the team

Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones was raised in Dalton, GA and graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Textiles. He worked as a sales representative with Image Carpet and Mohawk Industries for 7 years where he gained knowledge about what to do (and not do) to create a successful flooring business. After learning about the retail and wholesale sides of the flooring business, Jeff opened American Flooring in 2003 with a small 600 square foot retail showroom. Since then with the help of his wife Maureen, he has expanded to a 4,400 square foot building with an on-site warehouse. Jeff gives back to the community through charitable giving and corporate sponsorships. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys taking walks with his wife Maureen, spending time with his grandchildren and playing fetch with his dog Buster.

Maureen Jones

Maureen began her career in flooring in 2001 on the order desk at Mohawk Industries in Pembroke Park, FL. That is where she met and fell in love with her husband and owner of American Flooring, Jeff Jones. As sales manager, Maureen helps her sales associates continue to hone their understanding of home design, project costs and product benefits. She feels that best practices in business begin with attention to detail and commitment to the best customer service experience before, during and even after each and every project. In her free time Maureen enjoys paper crafting, visiting her grandchildren and spending time with her extended family.

Windy

Windy began as a design specialist for American Flooring in 2007. In order to best utilize her sharp mind, organizational skills and 30 plus years of leadership in project management and customer service, she was asked to take on the role of Operations Manager. Windy is tasked with making sure all aspects of the business run smoothly. She works tirelessly to ensure that our staff, installation teams and manufacturers all work in harmony together so that our clients can have the most seamless experience possible. She has worked in large corporate settings but as a native of Jacksonville she finds it highly rewarding to work in a locally owned small company.

Julie

Julie began her career with American Flooring in 2018. She is not only the Assistant Sales manager but she also works with the operations team as well. Her calm presence, friendly demeanor and flexibility have been a boon for her fellow team members. When she is working on the sales floor Julie loves the challenge of educating her clients so they can choose the right product for their home. Julie is married with 3 grandchildren and 3 dogs. She enjoys crafting and fishing and the beach.

Tina

Tina has been in customer service for more than 20 years. She began her career with American Flooring in sales 5 years ago but quickly transitioned to the operations team where she has been an integral member of the team ever since. She keeps orders and installations running smoothly on a daily basis as well as handling billing. Her favorite part of her job is the people she gets to work with every day and when she has time off, Tina loves immersing herself in the magic of Disney parks as well as Universal Studios Orlando.

Britney

Britney is relatively new to flooring but she has been in the customer service industry for the past 7 years. In her time at American Flooring she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge regarding the best flooring options based on lifestyle, interior design and installation practices. Her favorite part of the job is when her clients call in to say how thrilled they are with the products she helped them select for their home. When she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her 3 dogs and her husband as well as cooking.

Karen

Karen Waters is a flooring professional known for her attention to detail, creative vision, and commitment to quality. She helps homeowners, realtors, and builders find flooring solutions that fit their style, budget, and timeline. With both industry experience and business knowledge, Karen ensures every project is completed with precision and care. Her clients value her reliability, honesty, and ability to make the process stress-free from start to finish. She believes the right flooring doesn’t just transform a space—it transforms how you feel in it.

Zach is the Lead Estimator at American Flooring, bringing over six years of dedicated experience in the flooring industry. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of flooring materials and installation techniques, Zach ensures that every project is accurately assessed and meticulously planned. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction makes him an invaluable asset to the team, helping clients achieve their vision with precision and efficiency.
